Lilli Passero Goes Jazzy On The Voice With ‘Town Without Pity’ And Stuns In Gold Dress

Lilli Passero went with a jazzy song and performed "Town Without Pity" by Gene Pitney. She wore a gorgeous gold dress that Carson Daly commented made it feel like the beginning to a James Bond film.

Alicia Keys was so feeling the song. She said it was so relevant and that every lyric was just this second. Alicia said that you lose yourself in Lilli's world and style. Alicia could not wait for more.

Adam Levine was happy with the performance. He felt that they were in another time. Adam said it is hard to do that without making it contrived and insincere. Adam said that Lilli made the song her own.

What did you think of the performance? Let us know in the comments section.

Lilli's parents are the "ultimate theater nerds," both having professional careers in musical theater. Lilli's life was all about performing, acting and singing, and she went on to study acting at Carnegie Mellon University. She graduated and moved to Hollywood to pursue acting, going on many auditions and landing various guest spots, including on NBC's "Go On." She currently works as a server but continues to audition and even had a starring role in "Cabaret," in which she received positive feedback on her voice.

The Voice Social Media Reactions

The three-time Emmy Award-winning "The Voice" returns with the strongest vocalists from across the country invited to compete in the blockbuster vocal competition show's new season. Grammy Award-winning artist Gwen Stefani returns as a coach this season, joining megastars Alicia Keys, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton and host Carson Daly.

The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: the first begins with the blind auditions, followed by the battle rounds, the knockouts, the live playoffs and, finally, the live performance shows.

In the final live-performance phase of the competition, the Top 12 artists compete each week against each other during a live broadcast. The television audience votes to save their favorite artists. The three artists with the lowest number of votes are eligible for the "Instant Save." These artists each perform a new song that represents why they should earn the save. Then, America has the opportunity to save their favorite performer by tweeting #VoiceSave along with the artist's name. The singers with the lowest number of votes are sent home each week. In the end, one is named "The Voice" and receives the grand prize of a recording contract.
